A gathering of shells, symbols and spirit — created as a prayer for protection, remembrance and peace on Earth.
White buffalo, crocodile and pelican imagery sit among hand-painted shells, natural sea forms, gold-edged details and quiet messages, creating a piece about remembering where we come from, trusting what protects us, and honouring the connections that continue beyond what we can see.

The story
Prayer, protection
& remembrance.
The White Buffalo carries prayer, abundance and reverence for the Earth. The crocodile — an ancient guardian of the waters — speaks of protection, instinct and primal wisdom.
Woven quietly through the piece is the pelican, representing someone deeply loved and the idea that love and presence can continue beyond this life.
Sacred Waters holds these symbols together as a meditation on protection, remembrance, belonging and peace.

Symbols held
in shell.
Each shell has been treated as its own small canvas. Greens, blush pinks, soft blues and earth tones move between botanical marks, tiny patterns and figurative imagery, while gold edging catches the light and unifies the composition.
The natural shells and sea urchins remain visible alongside the painted elements, allowing the organic material to retain its own history and character.
